More News From [mf.nine]
Thursday, 09 August 2007
We've been in talks with [mf.nine] for a while now regarding the fact that their album still hasn't been finished. At first we weren't exactly happy with it, but apparently they decided to go in a different direction with their music (i.e. no techno-only). So they're making a rock album.

That's all the information we have about it at the moment...at least that we can release. But in the next few weeks we should have an album title, track listing (hopefully), and maybe some artwork.

Oh, and the store isn't gone forever. We've just been trying to find the best way to work it into the layout of the site. If anybody has any ideas give us a shout on the contact page.

The forums are closed at the moment. No new registrations until we can upgrade them and fix the theme after upgrades.

Too many spam-bots trying to join. We currently get about 300 per minute trying to get in. So we've just closed registration altogether temporarily.

That's about it for the site right now. (I'm horrible at PR, aren't I?)

OJC Returns!
Thursday, 12 January 2006
Old Junk Country - Wes DexterAll of you old-school SFMers will remember OJC AKA Old Junk Country AKA Wes Dexter.

Well, coming soon, OJC will make their triumphant return to [sing.free.music] with this CD..."Wes Dexter".

It's a collection of all of the songs that make them great, as well as some live tracks so you can hear the improvisational mastery that they command in their performances.

We're glad they're back, and you should be too!

If you're a member over at Last.FM then you can preview the tracks here.

You'll have to register over there and download the "Last.FM Player," but don't worry...they don't spam you at all, and it's free to join.

As a bonus, you can download the AudioScrobbler plugin from them, and every track you listen to will be listed on their database. You can read more about it on their site.

That's it for now, keep checking back for more news on the latest releases from SFM. We have plenty more in the works for you guys.
